Description
The sophisticated sartorial taste that distinguishes the Twiggy family of seats also characterises Twiggy Bed, the design for the night area featuring the same tailoring details, an expression of Minotti’s mastery of particularly refined crafting techniques. Like the Twiggy family of seats, Twiggy Bed combines the aesthetics of the 1970s with refined, elegant upholstery, setting the rigorous volumes of the platform and headboard on the iconic base in brushed aluminium or Black Coffee colour.
The headboard, available in two different heights, is entirely upholstered in fabric or leather and is embellished with stitching that reveals the depth of the brand’s manufacturing know-how. The platform echoes the couture aesthetic of the headboard and its multiple pocket springs guarantee a high quality of rest. Twiggy Bed family represents an ideal of timeless beauty capable of also adding a refined, yet contemporary flair to furnishing pieces for the night area.
Structure: One-piece free-standing bed frame in very thick plywood, with pocket springs, high-resilience CF-free polyurethane foam and perforated materials for improved air circulation. The headboard is padded with variable-density, high-resilience polyurethane foam and is available in two heights: H88 and H112 cm. The bed frame and headboard are finished with heat-bonded fibre laminated to white cotton fabric, providing soft and hygienic padding. The headboard features refined embroidered quilting and is available in all-fabric or all-leather upholstery.
Covers: Upholstery in fabric or leather is completely removable. To facilitate upholstery removal, the headboard can be lifted out of the bed frame through a system of quick set and release closures, removing the plates under the bed frame.
Bases: Semi-curved blades in heavy-duty aluminium, 8 mm thick, brushed semi-polished with textured effect or varnished polished anti-fingerprint, Black Coffee colour. Protective polyethylene glides (soft rubber, scratch-proof, oil-free, non-staining) pewter or black coffee colour, to match the finish on the bases.
Benches Structure: Plywood structure with a seat made of multiple layers of variable-density, high-resilience polyurethane foam. It is padded with breathable quilted fibre laminated to hypoallergenic white cotton fabric for enhanced softness and comfort. The quilting contains a soft siliconised microfibre filling made from certified 100% recycled PET. Embroidered quilting securely joins the padding to the upholstery, creating a refined finish.
Benches Covers: structure and cushion upholstery, in fabric or leather, is completely removable.

The finish “brushed semi-polished with textured effect“, developed by Minotti Studio, is achieved through an exclusive high-quality hand-finishing process that emphasizes the brushed aluminium texture, including possible natural nuances that make each piece unique.
N.B.: Given the architecture of the bed, it is not possible to insert a slatted base or adjust mattress height.
